The staff of David Wade Salon is a cooperative of independent stylists who offer superior service, gifted talent and a welcoming attitude. Providing excellence in hair, nails and facial waxing, the salon staff offers a variety of services — consistently satisfying clients of all ages.

Chuck Hill

Chuck Hill began his career as a Hair Designer in 1998. Fortunate to love his profession, Chuck's passion and dedication continue to grow. Focusing on hair color and cutting, Chuck has trained with industry leaders including Goldwell and Bumble & Bumble, and he understands the importance of staying current with the latest techniques and trends. Deeply appreciative of his current clientele for their patronage and loyalty, Chuck also welcomes new clients who are ready to look and feel their best.

Grace Holcomb

Grace Holcomb, a professional stylist since 1991, joined David Wade Salon in 2002 providing her loyal clients with knowledge, experience, and patience. Regularly updating her style and color skills from leaders in the field such as Kostas Melissaris and Scott Cole, Grace is dedicated to providing the most professional and innovative services available to women, men, and children.

Ginny Overby

Ginny Overby is one of Raleigh's most experienced nail specialists with ten years in her field.Combining maximum relaxation and pampering with a holistic approach, Ginny has a huge following at David Wade Salon. Unlike typical nail treatments, your session with Ginny will be a calming experience of mind-body connection with a skilled nail technician.

Patrick M. McGuire

Patrick M. McGuire has found his professional home since joining David Wade
Salon in May 2007. Making it his business to keep up with current trends, Patrick takes far more continuing education than are required and brings these advanced skills to his clients. Although Patrick loves coloring hair the most, he believes that providing a cut that functions best is paramount.

Carol Williams

Carol Williams, a Raleigh native, has over twenty years in the hair industry and has been with David Wade Salon since 1992. Carol is dedicated to her profession and stays up-to-date with the newest techniques and styles through classes with Rusk, Paul Mitchell, Graham Webb, and Goldwell. Carol works with each client to create an individualized hairstyle that not only looks good at the salon but at home, as well. Carol's exceptional creativity and technical expertise has garnered a loyal following of clients.

Kelly Ferrara

Kelly Ferrara has been a master colorist as part of the David Wade team for over three years. She was trained at the highly acclaimed Goldwell Academy and went on to become a certified educator for Goldwell. Her talent is apparent in formulating colors to fit the client's features and lifestyle while keeping the condition of the hair in mind. Kelly loves learning all the latest trends and techniques to keep her clientele happy and is always glad to meet new clients.

Andrew Rose

Andrew Rose is the newest stylist here at David Wade, but is not new to the beauty industry. He started off at the age of sixteen working in a salon as a receptionist. Andrew decided this was the stepping stone to a long career as a successful stylist. He attended International Institute of Hair Design here in Raleigh. From there he moved to New York and worked at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and immersed himself in the flavor and culture of beauty in a metropolitan area. Andrew acquired his advanced training in coloring techniques, mastered styling and haircuts. From the moment you meet Andrew, you will know what a warm and fun personality he has.

Cara Engle

Cara Engle, one of our receptionists, came to David Wade Salon with over 20 years experience as a hairstylist. She and her family relocated to North Carolina from California and although she is a licensed stylist, she is enjoying working a different position in the salon. Cara brings her professionalism and customer service skills to help clients feel welcome.

Amanda Saban

Amanda Saban is our youngest team member and carries an impressive record as our afternoon receptionist and product specialist. Graduating from the esteemed Paul Mitchell Academy in 2008, she brings her enthusiasm and love of hair care products to our front desk. She specializes in Paul Mitchell color with product knowledge in Phyto,Rusk, Goldwell, Bumble&Bumble and Morrocan Oil. Being a part time college student and liscensed stylist she is always happy to offer her expertise to customers with any questions.
